Hi- I need a way to show progression within my company while also showing work on client projects. I have just become Sr. Technical Consultant while working on the SAME client project...so the progression is with my consulting company while I'm working on the same client project... How do I show this? Currently the experience section of my resume looks like below. Consulting Company startdate-enddate Title (e.g. Sr. Consultant) Client name: xxx Accomplishment 1 Accomplishment 2 Accomplishment 3 Title (e.g. Consultant) Client name: xxx Accomplishment 1 Accomplishment 2 Accomplishment 3

Nothing wrong with your approach, especially if you want to ensure that they recognize the progression.

Later on, when space gets tight, a way to find space will be to combine the two into the most recent title (Sr.), by listing the best 4-5 accomplishments from your time as a Sr. and as Consultant. You'll lose the emphasis on progression, but chances are you'll be appying for jobs that really look at you Sr experience and beyond.
