My HR department has recently become concerned about meetings with contractors... specifically treating them like employees. The contractor in question is through a staffing firm and we pay the firm not the contractor.
Any advice on how to handle this? i want all my contractors to attend staff meetings, o3's and summits when i have them but i'm getting pushback from HR.
