What a bizarre and enjoyable podcast from you guys! When I started working for an Big Six (there were six then) accountant in the City of London we were given two days of lectures on Personal Grooming and Clothing. My current British manager will tell you how bad it is to wear button down collars, brown shoes and a pocket on your shirt. The real problem with transition lenses is that the reaction appears to suffer as the heat of the lens increases. In the heat of the sun you will get no protection at all.

Slightly off-topic, but funny story: I used to work in an office where one of the people was always wearing his sunglasses in summer, even in the office. He suddenly stopped when somebody anonymous put an article from Scientific American on the notice board with details of a scientific study showing that people that wear sunglasses in house are trying to hide something...
