Greetings,
With 30+ inches on the ground and more on the way, the federal government has been closed, and our team has been out of work.
I know we'll survive and in a few weeks, I'll look back and be glad we've made it through the storms.
Meanwhile, I'm faced with administrating a fairly strict policy -- when the government is closed, folks have to find work on other projects or take personal time off. How I feel about the policy is one thing. How I react is another.
Any (actionable) suggestions on what to do when your team is sidelined by something like this?
Thanks,
Steve

Snow days are when we work
Snow days are when we work on our list of "someday we will...." projects.
It's a good time to clean up files and get organized, or do something strategic that needs several hours of uninterrupted time.
Amazingly, even with all the snow we have still had a few visitors. Apparently the wind blew in a flock of goldeneyes. Birders are pretty hard core :)
good tips. thanks.
