Hi All,
I am starting a new job in the new year as lead developer for a also new small software development team (two others). I have been listening to the basic management podcasts which have been really interesting. -- Thank you manager tools.
I am wondering if there are any other suggestions of resources that I can look at on here or elsewhere that might be relevant to a new lead developer and also laying foundations for a newly formed software development team.
Thanks,
Drew

I'd recommend you start with "The Basics". It's great info and is the core of what manager-tools is about.
People are People
From the way you asked your question, I wonder if you think there may be something different about managing developers vs other people. That's not the case. Everything you learn in manager tools can be applied to managing anyone. It's all about communication. You need to separate the management of people from the management of technology and SDLC. They are 2 different things.
Just my 2 cents.
